    North Smethwick Development Trust provides provides a range of local services and activities from Brasshouse Community Centre. It operates as a development trust and is concerned with the long term rengeneration of the North Smethwick area using an independent community led approach. Its founding ideas are to: facilitate the residents of North Smethwick to actively participate in, and contribute to, the process of improving the qualityof life in the area.

  • Autism West Midlands - Sandwell

    We are the leading charity in the West Midlands for people on the autism spectrum. We use our expertise to enrich the lives of autistic people and those who love and care for them. Our passionate, expert staff and volunteers work across all age groups and abilities, providing direct support. Our Sandwell Family Service is funded by Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council. Families must live in the Sandwell Council area, and have children under 18 years old, diagnosed with autism or being assessed for autism (diagnosis is not needed).     Here at Jubilee Park we have excellent Astro Turf facilities, Soft Play area and a wide variety of rooms suitable for all occasions available to hire at very competitive prices.

  • West Midlands Historic Buildings Trust

    We are a Building Preservation Trust (BPT) dedicated towards the conservation of historic buildings in the West Midlands which are considered at risk. We act as a rolling fund - we purchase a historic building, identify a new viable long-term use for it , repair it and adapt it, and sell it on to a new user, investing the proceeds in the next project. Membership of the West Midlands Historic Buildings Trust is open to all - anyone can get involved, either as an active volunteer,or simply to take part in our events which are aimed at educating the public / raising awareness of local conservation issues and projects. Our main area of operation is the Black Country, but we will consider any building within the West Midlands County or adjacent areas that may benefit from our help.

  • From People to People

    From People to People we will help to raise funds; by holding seminars, training, acting, dance classes, shows and quiz nights etc. within the year. By raising some funds we will help those groups who are vulnerable. The project will provide education and training to support those who have been affected in the disaster area of the world. We will provide training for our members who need training to help with this project. We will work along with other voluntary organisations. We will be planning to do these training.

  • Jubilee Park Junior Fishing Club

    To run a fishing club within Tipton area, giving priority to under-privileged children and provide a competitive aspect for young people. If any youngsted aged 11 - 16 wants to join, male or female, phone Ade on 07748 324 462. All volunteers are Police checked and we have adequate child protection in place

    A church that is open for all people to use within the area. Sunday Morning Worship : start 10.45 am Sunday Evening Service : start 6.30 pm Bible Study every Thursday : start 7.00 pm

  • New Street Neighbourhood Watch

    We try to reach all the people in our 'watch'. We send newsletters, keep them in touch with all that goes on in our area, warn them of any bogus callers and see that they know all about the area, police wise. I call and ask if they are OK and meetings are set up to see that everyone has their say and let's us know if all is well.
