To educate people in the effectiveness of meditation in maintaining overall well-being and fullness of life as an alternative to remaining predominantly mind-based. To develop a more positive attitude and enthusiasm for life, its purpose and meaningfulness. To bring awareness of the importance of science and spirituality having a greater role to play in our lives for more clarity, health, harmony and enlightenment.

    Projects and Programmes include: Information, Advice and Guidance, Welfare Rights, Community Outreach Project, Skills and Employment, Street Outreach Team, Performing Arts Department, Education & Training, Young People Services, Schools Work, Health and Wellbeing, Volunteering, Immigration and Nationality, Community Services and Development Initiatives.   • Cerebral Palsy Midlands

    We are a charity that supports people with cerebral palsy. We offer speech and language therapy and physiotherapy, as well as educational classes at the centre. We have a welfare dept which offers advice advocacy services and home visits. We are a user led organisation.

  • Circles Network

    Circles Network is a national voluntary based organization based around the key principles of Inclusion and Person Centred Planning approaches. We provide unique personal support for people who are in danger of becoming socially excluded, or who are suffering the consequences of prior segregation and discrimination. We use the tools of Person Centred Planning to facilitate inclusion in the community, principally through the setting up of Circles of Support and through our individual projects

  • Community Transport

    CT Passenger Service provides a caring specialist transport service to improve people's quality of life. CT Furniture collects, sells and delivers second-hand furniture to individuals on low incomes and at transitional stages in their lives. The charity aims to encourage recycling and reduce fly tipping, by collecting donated furniture and electrical items, free of charge from residents. Furniture can be found and donated to stores in Sandwell Birmingham, Bilston, Coventry & Wednesfield. The charity aims to bring people and opportunities together to transform lives, build better communities by meeting local needs.

  • Compton Care

    The Hospice provides clinical and support services for people with life limiting illnesses and their carers and families. We provide free support to people who live in parts of the West Midlands: Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell and Walsall; and South Staffordshire and East Shropshire.

  • Contact a Family West Midlands

    Contact a Family is the only UK-wide charity providing advice, information and support to the parents of all disabled children - no matter what their disability or health condition. We also enable parents to get in contact with other families, both on a local and national basis. We can help by offering information, advice and support to parents and carers of children with any special need or disability as well as professionals working with families. Organising workshops and conferences for parents (which professionals can sometimes attend) based on local interest. These are opportunities for parents to come together and share their experiences; providing a quarterly newsletter, which offers information on sources of local support, events and covers topics of interest to families such as benefits, holidays and national organisations. The newsletter is available to both parents and professionals free of charge; working alongside professionals to ensure that the needs of parents, carers and children with special needs are represented; providing training to professionals and groups on issues that affect families of children with special needs; supporting the development of new parent groups and strengthening existing ones.

Be a meeting point for the people of Cradley Heath and find common purposes and interests. Be a place where help can be given on any issue - financial, health, personal, signposting where necessary and being a constant contact for those who need it. Be a place of creativity and re-creation Be a place where people can chat and find friendship Be a friendly environment and a place of rest Be a spiritual place where people find God's Kingdom.

  • Create a Future

    Create a Future exists to help people to realise their potential. We provide 1:1 and small group tuition for all ages, for all subjects and for all levels of learners. Generally, we support learners to achieve qualifications in maths (numeracy) and English (literacy) or to help individuals brush up on their basic skills. Sessions take place at home, in community settings, church halls, schools and we have been known to deliver sessions in MacDonalds and the local pub!. We can find tutors for specific subjects – Law, Latin, French, Spanish, Geography, History, Accounting, Music (Piano) and Knitting are some of the most recent subject areas requested. For community groups and programmes we can also offer Cooking without Numbers (Look and Cook), Financial Literacy (Know Your Numbers), Handwriting for Adults, Improve Your Reading (Reading Programme for Teens and Adults) and Brush Up Your Skills in Numeracy and Literacy. We support Looked After Children, Young Carers and provide Alternative Programmes for young people who are not at school – again in our core areas of English and Maths. Finally, we are the Regional Office for CREST Awards – the national programme that recognises project work – so if you and your clients are working on a project there may be ways that we can help you recognise progress. We are always delighted to talk about how we can work in partnership with other providers and will work with you to find ways to support joint programmes.
