Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country
Founded in 1980 as the Urban Wildlife Group, in 1982 we became the first urban Wildlife Trust, one of 47 covering the whole UK, we have been working to make Birmingham and the Black Country a better place for wildlife and people. The Wildlife Trust is leading the way in adapting to climate change in urban areas, doing practical things now that will be able to enjoy a wildlife rich, healthy environment into the future.

WISE Ability
WISE Ability are a non-for profit organisation delivering a variety of ESF and Government funded contracts which assist with employability and training for SMEs. We provide our services in the Black Country and Staffordshire, serving SMEs with fully funded and accredited qualifications for their staff. These qualifications have been chosen as some of the most essential tools for staff in these businesses and can improve knowledge and skill set. All our services are delivered online and assessed by our team upon completion, meaning a smoother service provided to both business and learner. Our services are completely free to utilise. WISE Ability are also supporting staff that are currently working under notice of redundancy or recently made redundant with gaining qualifications and assistance in returning to employment with the support of our Employment Engagement team. We understand the impact that redundancy has on people and are here to ensure that they have the support to move beyond this in a positive way with successful outcomes.
