    Little Hearts Matter offers support and information services to families where a single ventricle heart condition has been diagnosed. For families we provide medical information, a friendly support service (telephone), regional network support groups and national information and activity events. We also help with lifestyle queries and offer bereavement support.

  • Local Access Centre

    Local Access Centre Limited is a user led charity. It is committed to provide information, advice, guidance and referral services and facilitate enhancement of skills for our users. Specialising in areas of unemployment, benefits advice, training, money management such as debt advice, financial literacy and enabling users to access services and overcome barriers by providing bespoke services including provision of work related learning for young persons aged 13-25 and foster entrepreneurism skills for all. We support people with disabilities, Black, Asian, Minority and Ethnic groups (BAME), lone parents, elderly, youth and people with long term health conditions. By providing one to one and pairs sessions, focus groups, workshops, mentoring and befriending we ensure that individuals receive help and assistance that best suits our clients and users’ needs. Also we signpost people to other agencies. We ensure our presence is visible within inner city Birmingham communities. We have longstanding relationships with local schools, colleges, Job Centre Plus and various multi-faith institutions. Local Access Centre is keen to foster entrepreneurialism, we also have local SMEs work with us and these business owners value our inputs in what we do by providing work related learning and refer our users to local companies. We are highly adept and experienced in past delivery of similar projects be it in financial literacy, work related learning and community cohesion which have been supported by previous funders. By having multilingual staff, we can confidently penetrate hard to reach groups, especially where English is an additional language. Local Access Centre can provide spoken services in Gujarati please. It gives us the competitive edge over others and also to maximise our volunteer in kind support from our staff, as demonstrated by their skills composite and to give best value to our project. Our opening hours are as follows: Appointment only Mondays to Fridays: 10.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Evenings by prior arrangement. Closed on weekends and UK bank holidays.

    Locality is a membership organisation and supports community anchor organisations delivering services in their communities, as well as developing enterprise. Community anchor activities include economic development, supporting people into employment, acting as facilitators with other partners,ensuring there is local control, and the ownership of community assets. There are over 500 members nationally.

  • Macmillan Cancer Support

    Douglas Macmillan established the 'Society for the Prevention and Relief of Cancer' in 1911. Since then, through the funding of the first Macmillan nurse in 1975 and the launch of our integrated phone support service in 2009, we have been established as an expert in cancer care and support. As part of our strategy, we aim to be a strong voice for change that people will listen to. Our history and the expertise we have developed are powerful tools in driving our strategy because they establish our credibility. People and organisations want to work with us, because we are the first they think of when they think about Cancer. Everything we do is to help everyone living with cancer to live life as fully as they can. Our allied health professionals (AHPs), nurses, support specialists and services, work directly with people with cancer, their families and loved ones every day. We also aim to keep cancer at the top of the agenda by influencing others and heightening awareness of the issues involved. We raise money to make all our work possible.

The charity works with your senior leadership team to provide a flexible, reliable and professional service. Mentor Link work with Primary Schools, High Schools and colleges across the West Midlands.

    Multistory's mission is 'art celebrating lives'. We work with people to create experiences that are: empowering, diverse, rooted, curious, social, excellent, accessible. Multistory works with the people of Sandwell to make art that reflects their lives. We aim to be nationally recognised for our work so that we can attract brilliant artists to come and work with us. We aim to create work that everyone will want to see, be part of and talk about. Our work is focused on the development of participatory arts projects designed to tackle a wide range of social issues that bring communities and artists together. We have a strong record of delivering projects with partners that enable them to engage people, through participation in the arts, in wider social and cultural issues, such as: housing, community cohesion, health, education, regeneration.

    Murray Hall Community Trust is a registered charity set up as part of the Governments City Challenge Regeneration Programme in July 1994. Support includes domestic care, respite care, information, advocacy, counselling, complementary therapy, volunteer befrienders and volunteer transport. For nearly 40 plus years NACRO has been running programmes such as Reaching Out, an outreach programme, aimed at providing disengaged young people with opportunities to learn new skills. NACRO also run training courses in a range of vocational areas.

  • Nash Dom CIC

    Nash Dom is a non-profit community interest company, established in May 2010. The organisation is foremost a coalition of Eastern European communities that strives for inclusiveness and integration within its own communities as well as with the wider society, in and around the West Midlands. Nash Dom finds itself active in community advice as well as other areas such as culture, sports and education. This provides plenty of opportunity for the engagement of stakeholders such as the local council, police, the NHS and other migrant communities. More importantly it allowes newcomers to become valuable members of society who are aware of their rights and responsibilities. Over the last year Nash Dom CIC has identified the need to have a multilingual advice center, to help newly arrived and existing communities understand the local regulations and law in the following areas: Drop-in sessions West Midlands Police NHS Local authorities and services providers.
