The project also offers accredited NVQ Training. Snowbirds is another project run from the Centre: an over 50s club that meets on Tuesday afternoons from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.

    NACRO runs services nation wide including projects for individuals and communities, research and training for people and organisations helping to reduce crime. For nearly 40 plus years NACRO has been running programmes such as Reaching Out, an outreach programme, aimed at providing disengaged young people with opportunities to learn new skills.     We are a group of ex-service men and women who meet on a regular basis for companionship and company. We visit schools and lecture on times past, regarding historically about being in the armed forces 1948 to date. We attend funerals on request providing our branch standard for those ex-service people who pass away usually requested by the person who has passed on. We visit older ex service people o provide company who are housebound and try to provide comfort where possible. We try to encourage younger people to look after the elderly of todays society especially those living alone.
