  • Sandwell Visually Impaired (SVI)

    Sandwell Visually Impaired (SVI) is a voluntary self help organisation consulting with the council and other service providers to improve the lives of all visually impaired people living or working in Sandwell. Additionally we seek to limit isolation of the visually impaired community by encouraging social interaction, presently with the production of a quarterly newsletter, invites to quarterly speaker led / social meetings; and a fully accessible website of information on visual impairment issues, social enterprise training in visual impairment awareness and consultation.

  • Sikh Helpline

    The Sikh Help Line was set up to offer counselling to young children teenagers and adults who may require assistance or guidance issues ranging from grooming, domestic abuse through to racism and substance addiction. With an understanding of these cultural issues and barriers, the Sikh Helpline offers a support network for these victims.” The 24 hour helpline - 0845 644 0704 or 07999 004 363 - is manned by trained individuals who speak both English and Punjabi and are equipped to handle problems faced by individuals today.

  • Smarty Club

    Smarty Club provides an open and fun environment for children aged 3 - 8 to interact and build friendships and celebrate their culture. Currently kids membership is 25 children. Smarty Club provides activities based around arts, crafts, physical activity, all religious and cultural celebrations and creates a sense of community for young children and their parents. Sessions run in Greets Green, Sandwell.
