    We have now opened the resource centre in Langley High Street and will be providing varying services to the community including chiropody, gaelic language lesson, benefit entitlement advice, raising health awareness and health promotion

    Sandwell Irish Society is a registered charity that works to achieve a vibrant Irish community in Sandwell and the surrounding area, one that is engaged and empowered to play an active role in society by ensuring that people have the chance to contribute their views, articulate their needs and have an impact on policy and practice. It aims to achieve this by improving the confidence, health awareness and image of the community and by ensuring that the contribution of people of Irish birth and descent, over many years, to the economic, social, cultural and historic richness of the area is recognized and acknowledged. It works with statutory and voluntary organisations to develop activities and services in response to needs identified. It organises social, cultural, information and health events which inform people, combat isolation and engage the community.

  • St Pauls Community Centre

    Community centre with disabled access that holds various classes - keep fit, karate, line dance, children\'s dance. We also have a pensioners and carers group and camera society Community cafe on site.

    A Trust set up to develop, manage and maintain the Warley Woods public park and golf course, ensuring its long-term restoration and sustainability and developing its recreational facilities and events for the benefit of the local community

  • Wednesbury Sons of Rest

    Elderly persons leisure club. The hours of opening are 12 noon to 4.30pm Monday to Friday only. Consisting of ladies and gentleman. We play snooker, crib, dominoes and billiards etc. We can, and do, go on various days out during the summer period and we also have a Christmas carol concert during the festive season. There are about 60 active elderly persons within our organisation and we all have a really enjoyable time.

  • Wednesbury Townswomens Guild

    A monthly meeting of women, who have speakers and events. Put on events which bring in cash which we donate to charity.

  • Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country

    Founded in 1980 as the Urban Wildlife Group, in 1982 we became the first urban Wildlife Trust, one of 47 covering the whole UK, we have been working to make Birmingham and the Black Country a better place for wildlife and people. The Wildlife Trust is leading the way in adapting to climate change in urban areas, doing practical things now that will be able to enjoy a wildlife rich, healthy environment into the future.
