  • Karu Kyoshi Kan Judo Club (3 K's)

    The judo club is a sports club run and organised by volunteers. Although its main focus is the sport of judo it also teaches etiquette and respect to each other, it is about winning and losing with dignity. The club is open for everyone; we have never bared anyone from becoming a member. We are a community club that provides other activities; such as just visits to other areas within the UK and also foreign countries and we also invite other countries to visit our judo club, this helps our members to take in other peoples cultures. We also provide activities for children in their holidays from school and we also provide judo coaches to teach in other holiday activity centres.

    NACRO runs services nation wide including projects for individuals and communities, research and training for people and organisations helping to reduce crime. For nearly 40 plus years NACRO has been running programmes such as Reaching Out, an outreach programme, aimed at providing disengaged young people with opportunities to learn new skills. NACRO also run training courses in a range of vocational areas.

    We are a group of ex-service men and women who meet on a regular basis for companionship and company. We visit schools and lecture on times past, regarding historically about being in the armed forces 1948 to date. We attend funerals on request providing our branch standard for those ex-service people who pass away usually requested by the person who has passed on. We visit older ex service people o provide company who are housebound and try to provide comfort where possible. We try to encourage younger people to look after the elderly of todays society especially those living alone.

  • Omega, The National Association for End of Life Care

    Omega is an end of life charity working hard to raise standards in end of life care by supporting caregivers looking after someone with a terminal illness, people who are themselves end of life, and those who have been bereaved. We prioritise those aged over 75 and still caring or bereaved.

    Oscott Horticulture Services is a community interest company, limited by guarantee and not for profit. It aims to provide horticultural and environmental services throughout all sectors. It provides work experience for school leavers and the unemployed.

  • PAPYRUS

    PAPYRUS is a national charity dedicated to prevent young suicide. We run a national helpline, HOPELineUK, including text and email services, staffed by a team of mental health professionals who provide practical help and advice to vulnerable young people and to those concerned about any young person who may be at risk of suicide. PAPYRUS offers a range of training sessions aimed at raising awareness of the prevalence of young suicide. We teach skills to people from all walks of life in how to recognise a young person at risk of suicide and in how to provide immediate and effective help. Our training is designed to equip participants with the skills, awareness and confidence to help prevent young suicide. PAPYRUS also delivers talks and awareness-raising sessions in schools, colleges, universities, community groups, prisons and other networks. These sessions are aimed at young people at risk and those who care for or work with them to help reduce the stigma surrounding suicide and encourage young people to be suicide-safe.

  • Priory Family Centre CIC

    We deliver early years provision, adult learning and employment projects designed to help unemployed people find work. Breaking Bread, a catering business supplying food to primary schools and buffets to the public and private sectors, has recently launched a food bank supplying people in crisis with free food. Breaking bread is part of the Priory Family Centre Group.
