    Parents Forums run during sessions provided by the play/stay or other activities relating to parents. There are a few groups with the Cradley Heath / Old Hill area of different ethnicity. The Centre is open 9.00 am – 3.00 pm Monday to Friday.

Independent groups offer the following: Ideal for All: A coffee morning for isolated adults, and adults with a disability. Iris Drug Awareness: Drug and alcohol support. My Time Active: Healthy choices and gentle exercise etc Sure Start: provide a soft play session for under fives where the children can climb, roll and play in a safe environment. Yemeni Community Association: Keep Fit class and ESOL classes The Centre also offers rooms for hire for functions such as children's parties and other celebrations. Please contact the Centre for further details. The Community Centre is operated by Sandwell Community Hubs.

    The commitment shown by parents and their children who are community members has been the drive to the forming of the organisation. It's an opportunity for many parents who are on income support and cannot afford private homework and sports clubs. Many of these members are ethnic families, who are newly moved from other EU countries, asylum seekers or immigrants who have been in the country less than four years. Our main vision is to improve the quality of life for these children and young people by giving them support to educate themselves in the future and give them confidence and raise their standard of learning and give them also sports activities which will develop them to professional players to bigger clubs.

    Friar Park Community Centre provides activities for young people such as youth club,sports activities and dance. There are leisure facilities for retired/vulnerable people, along with dancing, bingo clubs, etc. There is venue hire (function hall, meeting rooms, soft play room etc.) and catering is available as part of room hire, if required. The community centre is generally open from 9 am to 8.30 pm.
