The Smethwick Youth and Community Centre offers welfare advice and guidance, money management, employment support, and sports and recreation activities such as yoga and football. It also offer English classes and IT classes to enhance people's chances of employment.

    SOVA Connect receives referals from 8 West Midlands regions - short sentence prisoners who require post-release mentoring. We recruit volunteer mentors to deliver this mentoring. Mentors help beneficiaries work through an action plan produced whilst in prison. The aim of the action plan is to assist them in resettling back into the community, more specifically to access education, training or employment.

    St Pauls is the Parish Church of Blackheath and is part of the Church of England. The church is used as a place of worship and the church hall as a well used community facility by many different community groups.

    St. Philip's parish was started in 1862 by Fr. Edward Caswall, one of Cardinal Newman's friends. Since then, the parish has become a thriving Catholic Community, worshipping God and caring for others. We have a parish hall that can be hired. Brushstrokes, helping parents and pre-school children to play and learn together and our school, St. Philip's Catholic Primary and Nursery.

    We run The Staffordshire Bull Terrier Heritage Centre at The Old Post Office, Wednesbury and it's the only one in Britain for this subject. A committee of elected volunteers (trustees) who are elected every 12 months who record the history of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier to educate the public and future generations
