  • Spectra

Spectra is a neurodiverse arts company that creates interactive, multi-sensory adventures for curious audiences. Founded in 2013, we make aesthetically driven, gently provocative performance and installation work that engages all of our audience’s senses. Our work is always accessible, actively seeking to welcome, include and support. Our Professional Company is currently working on a new show called Woods for the Trees (20 and 21 Jan 2023). Performed live over Zoom with gift parcels full of sensory goodies posted out to audience members, the show celebrates the cosiness we find indoors in the winter and the unexpected pleasures of the woods if we're brave enough to venture out. We have several other programmes of work including playful garden installations in public unused spaces, community workshops and long-term projects with a particular focus on working with those who are not currently served well by publicly funded culture, and artist development.

  • The Prince's Trust (Central Regional)

The Prince's Trust supports 13 to 30 years old who are unemployed and those struggling at school and at risk of exclusion. Around one in five young people in the UK are not in work, education or training. Youth unemployment costs the UK economy £10 million a day in lost productivity, while youth crime costs £1 billion every year. Many of the young people we help are in or leaving care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems, or have been in trouble with the law. Our programmes give young people the practical and financial support they need to stabilise their lives. We help develop key skills, confidence and motivation, enabling them to move into work, education or training. Our programmes also encourage young people to take responsibility for themselves – helping them build the life they choose rather than the one they have ended up with.
