Asbestos Support Central England
Asbestos Support WM exists to help those suffering from asbestos related diseases and to campaign for the strictest possible enforcement of regulations and legislation to protect current workers and communities. Asbestos is the biggest single work-related cause of death in the UK. It kills thousands every year and wrecks the lives of many more; we aim to end this misery. At Asbestos Support WM we provide: expert help and advice about DWP and other state benefits associated with Asbestos related diseases;practical assistance in the completion of all appropriate paperwork; referrals to reputable and experienced firms if you need legal advice;a home visiting service to anyone who can not travel in addition to appointments at our office. We also provide services to the victims of Asbestos related diseases and/or their families at no cost; provide links to reputable organisations that are able to offer additional help, for example in explaining cancer and its consequences to children:strictly complies with the Solicitors' Introduction and Referral Code; campaigns and informs people on the asbestos issue, helping to ensure the strictest possible enforcement of regulations and legislation to protect current workers and communities.

Bearwood Allotments is a 113 plot site, in Bearwood which is currently fully let. We have a community of 12 who deal with the day to day running of the site and attempt to raise funds. We do this on behalf of Sandwell Council.

Birmingham and District Beekeepers' Association
The Birmingham and District Beekeepers was formed in 1936 as part of the British Beekeepers Association that was formed in 1849. We teach and promote the art of beekeeping and have a teaching apiary in Highbury Park, Kings Heath. We also have a library and beekeeping equipment that members and beginners can use.
