  • Wednesbury Old Time & Sequence Dance Club

    Social club for senior citizens. The Club take place on Monday afternoons from 2 - 3.30 pm at the Church Hall, Woods Estate, for old time and sequence dancing. Refreshments available.

  • Wednesbury Sons of Rest

    Elderly persons leisure club. The hours of opening are 12 noon to 4.30pm Monday to Friday only. Consisting of ladies and gentleman. We play snooker, crib, dominoes and billiards etc. We can, and do, go on various days out during the summer period and we also have a Christmas carol concert during the festive season. There are about 60 active elderly persons within our organisation and we all have a really enjoyable time.

  • Wednesbury Townswomens Guild

    A monthly meeting of women, who have speakers and events. Put on events which bring in cash which we donate to charity.

  • West Bromwich African Caribbean Resource Centre

    Provides services primarily for the African-Caribbean community across the Borough. Services provided include :- Meals on Wheels, day care for the elderly, links with employment services, Saturday School and Health Education project including support for children and families experiencing difficulties in relation to school exclusion.   • West Bromwich Baptist Church Projects Ltd

    WBBC Projects Ltd runs two projects: 'U Choose' works with young people in local secondary schools and the local community helping them re-engage with education, training and employment. They run a variety of programmes and sessions to achieve this. The manager is Matthew Peniket. 'The Base' runs after-school clubs, holiday programmes and occasional other activities for children aged 8 to 13. The senior children's worker is Abayomi Bogle.

  • West Bromwich Community Church (Elim Pentecostal Church)

    We are a community church that is actively seeking ways to make our community a better place to live. We meet for Sunday worship and at various other times throughout the week. Sunday worship is from 10.30 am to 12 noon. West Bromwich Food Bank is operated from the Church premises at Victoria Street. The opening times are: Monday - 12 noon to 3 pm Wednesday - 12 noon to 3 pm Friday 12 noon to 3 pm

    Cricket Club providing facilities for cricket fixtures and coaching sessions for senior and youth members. Developing cricket within the local community and supporting other cricket related projects within Sandwell

  • West Bromwich Local History Society and West Bromwich Pauper Memorial Group

    West Bromwich Hostory Group meets monthly, first Friday in month from September to may inclusive at All Saints Parish Church at 7.30pm for lectures and workshops with a local or historical interest. The Pauper Group is now part of the History Group and has had a memorial erected in Heath Lane Cemetry to all those buried in unmarked common graves, particularly those from West Bromwich Workhouse (Hallam House which became the hospital) We do give power point presentations re Paupers throughout the area and have exhibitions of Pauper Memorial, James Eaton and the Battle of Trafalgar, West Bromwich in the World War 2.
