Afghan Society in the West Midlands
We aim to serve Afghan population in West Midlands and its surrounding areas. In future we aim to extend our support to all Afghans in the UK.
The Charity’s objectives are;
a) To advance education amongst the Afghan community in the West Midlands and the surrounding area, particularly but not exclusively of Afghani languages, the provision of English Classes and supporting school children with their education.
b) To relieve poverty amongst the Afghan community in the same area and throughout the UK, in particular by the provision of advise and information on issues such as accommodation and employment and by providing such persons with goods and services which they could not otherwise afford through lack of means.
c) To provide facilities for the recreation and other leisure-time occupation of persons who have need of such facilities by reason their poverty or social and economic circumstances with a view of improving their conditions of life.
