West Bromwich Local History Society and West Bromwich Pauper Memorial Group
West Bromwich Hostory Group meets monthly, first Friday in month from September to may inclusive at All Saints Parish Church at 7.30pm for lectures and workshops with a local or historical interest.
The Pauper Group is now part of the History Group and has had a memorial erected in Heath Lane Cemetry to all those buried in unmarked common graves, particularly those from West Bromwich Workhouse (Hallam House which became the hospital)
We do give power point presentations re Paupers throughout the area and have exhibitions of Pauper Memorial, James Eaton and the Battle of Trafalgar, West Bromwich in the World War 2.
