West Bromwich Food Bank
The Food Bank collect and stores food ready to freely distribute to individuals or families in crisis (who cannot afford to feed themselves). Clients are referred to us by voluntary / statutory agencies, community groups and churches. Following a referral, we will give the client enough food for three days, which should enable other support measures to be put in place. If the crisis continues, we will continue to support the client. We are not a substitute for any agency/group/church we work with. It is our aim to provide breathing space for those in crisis.
The West Bromwich Food Bank is a Christian organisation but will not turn away anyone in need and will not discriminate against individuals or families because of ethnicity, lifestyle, personal circumstances or religious beliefs. We believe that all are equal and valued in the sight of God.
