St Bernards Church
St Bernards Church, Hamstead is actively developing a community role. The Church runs many initiatives to involve local people.
These include a busy Trussell Trust Foodbank, Guides and Brownies groups, Kumon Maths, several activity groups such as Hamstead Dragons, Chess, Kick Boxing, Pensioners activity group, and 'Bernie's Café' which is held every Friday as a means of welcoming local people to meet and chat over a cup tea.
This is all in addition to Weddings and Funerals, and support to those who may require a more spiritual focus.
