Barnardos is a British charity founded by Thomas John Barnardo in 1866, to care for vulnerable children and young people. We help transform the lives of the most vulnerable children and young people in the UK. We listen to them. We believe in them – no matter who they are, what they have done or what they have been through. We’re helping to make a huge difference to the lives of more than 200,000 vulnerable children, young people and their families across the UK. We do this through over 900 vital services in local communities reaching and helping to transform the lives of those who need us most.
